Niger Delta: NDLF says it Will Resume Fresh Bombings
Soon
We
want to call-off our declaration for temporal cease fire in
next (7) seven days, starting from this day of publication and
continue massive attack on oil facilities in Niger Delta following
federal
government recalcitrant approach to our temporal cease fire
agreement in Niger Delta by refusing to address the fundamenta
l problems of the region by convening a post-amnesty conference.
NDLF time-bombs are still hanging on oil pipelines, oil well
heads, oil jackets and other flow stations which could be detonated
through
DCP/GPRS remote bombing operation. This time we will touch
both the NNPC major distribution export pipeline in the high sea
with our high capacity time-bombs that have planted on it for barely
two
months. Our resolve to resume hostility is a fallout of genuine
peace
deal on the part of federal government which the Christian
Association
of Nigeria (CAN) leadership and other well meaning
Nigerians represented NDLF for peace negotiation between our
organization and federal government.
By this resumption of fresh attack, we warn soldiers of JTF
to vacate our camps which we abandoned for them as our attacks
shall not spare both soldiers who prove stubborn by occupying our
territories.
We are aware that our operations have affected the refineries
production in the nation and that is the more reason why we accepted
and obeyed the call by CAN President Papa Ayo Oritsejafor for
cessation of hostilities temporally.
Our bombs planted on
oil facilities may remain for many years and cannot be easily traced
as many are buried inside the river and both the sea with skin divers
while
the land ones are buried under the surface of the ground in
far thick mangrove forest against pipelines ready for detonation.
It is not our wish to embark on massive bombing again. But federal
government
posture had compelled and pushed NDLF to think and wants
to
act otherwise.
Again, our resolve for temporal cease fire was to correct the
insinuation of mischief makers who narrowed our genuine effort
as
that of political manipulation to destabilize President
Goodluck
Jonathan presidential ambition by giving room for a
dialogue and cease hostility in Niger Delta.
Finally,we urge Mr. President to use his good office to avert
further bombing of oil facilities by facilitating the process for
speedypeaceful negotiation as Nigeria and Niger Delta belong to all
of
us.
Signed
Capt. Mark Anthony, Spokesman NDLF
